"Travel chaos as blizzards hit eastern United States"

From listening to the news the past few days, it seems as though New York has been experiencing A LOT of snow! As stated on the BBC website, "the New York area has been receiving up to 51cm (20in) of snow, and even more in some areas." It also went on to say, "all three airports serving New York - JFK, LaGuardia and Newark Liberty International Airport - were closed on Monday morning". This is all quite worrying as we go to New York in 9 days! Hopefully it will have all cleared and the airports will be running smoothly by then!

However, looking at the weather forecastes today, it does look as though the weather is improving, the snow is stopping, and the sun is coming out! Although the temperatures are still low, at least theres no more snow so hopefully this means the planes will start running and everything will be back to normal by next wednesday!
